The Owner Of A Sandwich Shop Noticed Someone Was Going Through Her Dumpster And Did Something Amazing
“You are a human being and worth more than a meal from a dumpster.”
Instagram user Greg King spotted this sign outside P.B. Jams, a sandwich shop in Oklahoma City.
To the person going through our trash for their next meal,
You're a human being worth more than a meal from a dumpster. Please come in during operating hours for a classic PB&J, fresh veggies, and a cup of water at no charge. No questions asked.
The Instagram photo got picked up by local news affiliate KFOR, which spoke with P.B. Jams' owner Ashley Jiron.
"I had noticed some bags, when I had taken out the trash, were torn open and some of the food was taken out,” Jiron told reporters. "It hurt me that someone had to do that."

FACT: Peanut butter and jelly is the most fun and delicious thing that's ever happened between two slices of bread.
This may not actually be a fact but it's an extensively well-researched opinion and with food, isn't that kind of all you can ask for?
But it's not always the healthiest, especially when you're using store-bought jelly and processed peanut butter.
For real, though.
Walt Disney
So, we made a version that uses frozen mixed berries (plus a little honey for ~fun~) and natural, unsweetened almond butter.
Oh, and did I mention that we turned the whole thing into FRENCH TOAST?

This Is The Peanut Butter Hack You Didn't Know You Didn't Need
Oh…Bev.
Don't you just hate it when you make a peanut butter sandwich, but the peanut butter doesn't spread easily so you end up ripping the bread apart?
This happens literally every second of every day of your life, probably.
CBS
Well, buddy, thanks to Food Network all your peanut butter worries are solved. Allow me to introduce you to peanut butter slices.
Food Network / Via Facebook: FoodNetwork
First, tell Carol you'll have to reschedule your boozy brunch because this recipe will take a full three hours.
Only, like, a fifth of your day, but who's counting?
Food Network / Via Facebook: FoodNetwork
OK, now that your schedule is clear, let's get cooking. For starters you're going to want to spread a few "globs" of peanut butter out onto parchment paper, and then freeze the peanut butter for about three hours.
Food Network / Via Facebook: FoodNetwork
Bev calls it "dollopies." So Bev!
Once the peanut butter is completely frozen, peel off the parchment paper and stick your freshly made peanut butter square onto your sandwich bread. Let the peanut butter thaw (which will definitely take roughly longer than if you'd just spread the peanut butter onto the bread three hours ago) and add whatever extra ingredients you want, like jelly, honey, or chocolate sprinkles. That's it!

Commenters had a lot of feelings about Bev's hack.

Thanks to peanut butter squares, this loving husband and wife can finally have kids!
